We had a great time, the bands played fabulously and the baked goods were absolutely scrumptious. The KCAC couldn’t have put this on without the help of the folks at the Peace Center, so a HUGE thankyou goes out to them for letting us use the Wesley Foundation. We also want to thank those who brought baked goods for the bake sale- that added to a huge amount of funds received- we’ll be able to use the proceeds towards other projects we are working on in the near future.

DJ Josh-  thankyou so much for staying the entire time to spin between sets. You’re rad.

Lastly, we really want to thank all of the musicians who came out and played the show. You’re the reason we were able to do this, and we love you guys.

We sincerely appreciate the support and we’re going to contiue to look for new ways to get the community involved with our art scene. If you liked any of the bands who played yesterday, do whatever you can to support them. Buy their merch and go to their shows!

Please don’t hesitate to come out to one of our meetings and see what we else we are planning. The next one is Monday, March 16th at 9:30p.m at 315 Walnut St.

The first set of the event will start at 4pm on Saturday, March 14th at WMU’s Peace Center/Wesley Foundation. Start the evening off right with local folk/roots musicians:
